Sidney and Jay spent nearly four years in the same nursing program without ever crossing paths. It was as if an invisible hand kept them apart, knowing they weren't ready for one another yet. Their lives converged unexpectedly during their junior year spring break trip to Florida. Sidney and her friend had somehow messed up their flight home-classic-and were stuck in Florida for an extra day. Turns out, it wasn't so bad after all because, finally, Sidney and Jay met. What started as light-hearted jokes being made back and forth across the dinner table, turned into dancing together all night. The two stayed in touch, and despite the pandemic arising and pushing people a part, these two only grew closer. Their first official date was soon after-a picnic in the park that ended with fireworks lighting up the sky. They've always seen that moment as a sign that they were meant to be. Jay didn't waste much time before making things official, and their relationship blossomed. They graduated together, started their new careers as nurses, moved in with one another, and traveled a ton-including a trip to Jamaica, where Jay proposed to Sidney! Looking back, Sidney and Jay both knew that the timing in which they met was divinely orchestrated. Turns out, God had a plan all along-even down to the botched flight.
