Her story

I first met Jackson in 2017, when he transferred to my high school and joined our dive team (though if you ask him, he'll probably tell you a different story of how we met). Naturally, I had to get to know the new kid! Jackson quickly became my best friend—and my first boyfriend. I spent many late nights in my room singing "He Could Be the One" by Hannah Montana at the top of my lungs and calling my friends to talk about him. We spent so much time together between practice and school, and from the very beginning, we were pretty much inseparable. After high school, we both went to college in Pittsburgh, and we built a whole new chapter of our lives together here. He makes me laugh every single day and constantly encourages me to grow into the best version of myself. I truly feel like the luckiest girl in the world & I can’t wait to make it official and start the next chapter of our story together!

His story

Sidney's right (she usually is), I do tell a different story of how we met. I met Sidney at a joint practice when I dove to the bottom of the diving well to retrieve her ear plugs. When I went to give them back, she looked at me weirdly, took the ear plugs, and walked away without saying a word. From that moment on I knew she was the one. Shortly after, I moved to Ohio and joined the same high school as Sidney. Pretty soon we became inseparable. We would walk to each other's classes, go on dinner dates between high school and club practices, and eventually followed each other to the same city for college. It's safe to say that we've become a package deal no matter where life takes us and I know we wouldn't have it any other way. Sidney is my biggest supporter, role model, and makes anywhere feel like home. I know I am the luckiest guy in the world because I soon get to call Sidney my wife.
