Everett was at happy hour celebrating a close friend’s birthday when he heard that the friend’s coed sand volleyball team would be stopping by before their weekly game at the lake. He was invited to tag along, but he was just about ready to call it a night… until Sidney walked through the door and took a seat beside them. Suddenly, heading home didn’t seem like such a great idea after all. He ended up joining the team for the game and the post-game celebration after they won. By the end of the night, Sidney was laughing so much that Everett decided his odds were pretty good… and asked her out. Almost four years later, here we are! Sidney is still an OK volleyball player and Everett still has the best sense of humor. And together, we're so excited to begin the next chapter of our story!
