When should I Rsvp by? Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Please RSVP by the date indicated on your RSVP card so we can finalize our plans. We are unable to accommodate additional guests and kindly ask that only the individuals named on the invitation attend. We cherish our time with friends and loved ones and appreciate your understanding.

Is there a dress code? Are there any colors to avoid?

Answer

We'd love for our friends and family to dress to impress on our special day! The dress code is black tie. Ladies are encouraged to wear floor-length gowns, while gentlemen can opt for a tuxedo or suit and tie. Please, no jeans. We would love for our guests to embrace and celebrate with us by wearing vibrant colors and patterns. Ladies, we request you refrain from wearing black. Please note, our bridal party will be wearing emerald green. In addition, please avoid wearing white, ivory, champagne, cream, eggshell, ecru, or any shades within the white family.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, we have decided to have our wedding as an adults only event.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.

Is the Ceremony & Reception indoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors in the Plaza, followed by an indoor cocktail hour and reception.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promtly at 6 PM, with guests welcome to enter the Plaza starting at 5:30 PM. Please make arrangements to arrive on time and allow extra time for security checks. Late guests will not be admitted into the ceremony.

What is an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

We invite you to be fully present during our wedding ceremony. We request that all guests put away cell phones, cameras, and any other devices during the ceremony and enjoy the moment with us. Our photographers will capture all the love from the day, and we promise to share the beautiful photos with you!

Is there parking available?

Answer

There is a parking garage located under the Ronald Reagan Building where guests may self-park for $19. Alternatively, there are several other parking lots within a short walking distance of the venue. We highly encourage Uber/Lyft to our guests who live in the area so you can enjoy the evening responsibly!

This is a secured federal building, anything I should know?

Answer

Guests will need to either go through security on the premises or have their vehicles checked by security officers. Please ensure you do not have any weapons on your person or in your vehicle, including guns, knives, golf clubs, sports equipment, or anything else that could be perceived as a weapon. The decision to permit entry if weapons are found will be at the discretion of the security officers. For added security, in addition to the building’s security measures, we will also have security personnel present at the ceremony and reception.
