SIDNA' STORY: It was the fall of 2014 and we were twenty three and free. We stumbled our way upon a dating app and coincidentally we happened to swipe right...best decision ever. We agreed to meet on Halloween night -I was Little Red Riding Hood and he was...a character from the movie Fear and Loathing lol. He agreed to pick me up like a gentleman and I was all nerves! As soon as I opened the door, I had butterflies. At that point, I had never heard of this movie was I confused by his outfit lol. At first, I was drawn in by his quirky and awkward sense of humor as we drove down to Broadway for some drinks and jammed out to electronic music. We talked loudly over the busy crowd, both nervous of course but connected on so many levels. We had an amazing time together and by the end, I felt so comfortable around him. He made me laugh all night and was genuinely sweet. He won me over with his adorable smile and I knew he was different. The night ended with Whataburger of course! As I walked him to the door, I gave him a hug goodnight and out of nowhere, he leaned in for an awkward peck and I was all smiles. We went started dating thereafter and it became official on November 16th, 2014. ALEX'S STORY: Back in 2014, it all began with a swipe. I came across Sidna's profile on a dating app, and I immediately fell in love with her eyes. Once we got to talking for a bit, we exchanged numbers and talked to each other constantly. After about a week, I asked her to join me on a date. I picked her up from her house and I was nervous as could be. Hoping that I wouldn't do anything to embarrass myself, I stayed a bit reserved at first, but as the night went on, I quickly realized that our chemistry was incredible. It turned into a really great night out. As the the date was coming to end, I knew I wanted to kiss her. I'm so glad that I did! I was overwhelmed with happiness when I saw her reaction. We became inseparable and the rest is history!

11-22-17 Alex and Sidna both have a love for photography and were eager to take another trip to the Dallas Arboretum to capture some amazing photos after enjoying it the first time they visited. It was a Saturday afternoon and Alex told Sidna to wear something cute so he could get some shots of her as well. Of course she was excited and took 10 years to figure out an outfit and fix her makeup :). They arrived at the Arboretum and it was such a beautiful day outside. Sidna couldn't help but sense that something was possibly up Alex's sleeve...but quickly pushed it out of her mind and was ready for some photo time! He led her to a beautiful and luscious green area with fountains, trees and a gorgeous stairway. For the longest time, Alex was scouting out spots to shoot and unfortunately it was a pretty crowded time of day...Sidna suggested they just go to a different area, but Alex persisted they stay and wait for an opportunity (little did Sidna know, there was a hidden photographer waiting for them in that specific area that Alex had arranged!) Eventually, Alex saw his chance and told Sidna to take a seat on one of their stair steps. He crouched down and got out his camera and Sidna was posed and ready. Out of the corner of her eye, Sidna got distracted by a bystander and briefly looked behind her...when she turned back around, there was Alex on one knee with the most beautiful ring she had always dreamt of... "Sidna, Will You Marry Me?", he said. "Oh my God!! Is this real?", were her first words...Of course she then said "YES!!". She was shocked with happiness and excitement all at once as she fell into his embrace. :) Thus, our next chapter began.
