The ceremony is planned to be outside on uneven lawn, so please wear comfortable shoes. Dinner and dancing will be indoors in an all-weather tent with air conditioning. Please also check the weather, it is generally hot and humid in August, so please prioritize comfortability.
We are fortunate to have a beautiful garden/farm for our ceremony and reception. General theme is Dressy Garden Party. Bright colors are encouraged.
After the ceremony, self-serve beverages will be available during cocktail hour while photos are being taken. We are thrilled to serve one of our favorites: BBQ! A selection of meats and sides will be served buffet-style. Please let us know if there are any allergies, dietary restrictions, or other concerns and we will do our very best to accommodate.
Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding celebration!
The nearest airport is the Des Moines Airport and is approximately 35-45 minutes from the venue.
