Travel Note
We recommend staying in Manhattan neighborhoods like Chelsea, Times Square, the East or West Village, the Lower East Side, or the Financial District. The Financial District tends to be quieter at night but is often more affordable. In Brooklyn, fun areas include Williamsburg, Park Slope, and Downtown Brooklyn.
Train
The city is well connected by trains and buses, so we recommend using public transport. You do not need a travel card since you can tap in using your credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. You can use Google Maps or Apple Maps to get real-time train and bus information, including routes and arrival tim
Flight
LaGuardia (LGA) is a much more navigable airport and generally easier for getting into the city compared to JFK or Newark (EWR). Unless there is a significant price difference, we recommend flying into and out of LGA.
