We want beautiful pictures of our ceremony, not shot after shot ruined by Aunt Deb getting in the way with her giant iPad with the camera pointed the wrong way, so please only take pictures during the reception and leave the ceremony photography to the professionals!
I mean, we’re not uptight or picky about what you wear to our wedding. We hope that you will opt to wear clothes first and foremost. If you really want our suggestion, we advise thinking of the wedding location as the background that sets the tone. Plus, a quick Google search of Longworth Hall weddings can give you a feel of the wedding style, and the venue will have photos of past weddings that can inspire you. If we HAD to pick a style description, we'd probably say semi-formal. That said, please feel free to adorn ethnic wear given that this wedding represents the union of two individuals from two different countries.
We are having a raunchy after party at the wedding venue following the reception starting at around 830 pm. You are welcome to come! Please note however that we will dim the lights (significantly) and turn the music up (significantly). So please plan accordingly.
We hope you do! However, please make sure you specify their ages when you RSVP so we'll have an idea of how many we're dealing with and can make some better plans for entertainment if you'd like to stay later than you want your kids to be awake. We can't promise that we will have someone to help babysit them, so please take that into account if you bring the little kiddos.
If we have enough people staying at the hotel where we blocked rooms, we can probably organize a shuttle back. A cab from Longworth Hall to the Hilton should run you about $10. We will have phone numbers for cabs and a designated driver service available at the reception.
Llamas, if they can not be left with a reputable stable, should be tied outside in easy view of the patio doors with water and food available to them. We ask that you go outside and check on the llama at least once an hour during the reception. We are not responsible for anything your llama does, or anything which happens to your llama. If at all possible, please leave the llama and any other pets you have at home.
