Lay of the Land
Our wedding is 45 minutes outside Lisbon, which is where we recommend flying into! Our venue is in Santo Isodoro, a small town perched on a hill just northeast of Ericeira. Theres a small market and two breakfast/lunch spots at the main roundabout and its only a 5 minute drive to park in the northern lots of Ericeria. You can walk 15-20 minutes down to Praia de Ribeira d'Ilhas, the main surfing beach, but walking to town would be a trek.

This is like European Priceline - We recommend using them to find the best deal and booking here might get you a discount - you probably don't need their 3rd party insurance. Lisbon Airport is probably the most convenient pick-up/drop off location. We do NOT recommend driving around the city! Get your car on your way to Ericeira.

We had a good experience with Guerin - affordable and hassle free - I recommend a manual transmission for a more authentic experience... if you're up for it
Travel Note
We'd recommend downloading WhatsApp before the trip, as it's commonly used in Portugal and will be the easiest way to communicate with us, other guests, hotels, drivers and vendors while abroad.

We haven't tried this but could be a good option if you aren't opting for a car. Currently runs one trip a day each way: 10:30a Ericeira to Lisbon 11:45a Lisbon to Ericeria
