We Are Getting Married!

We met through a mutual friend who thought that we would be a perfect match for each other. Who knew this cute Frenchie with a goatee would end up becoming the love of my life, and vice versa. It is incredible how two totally random strangers from distant parts of the world, raised with different cultures, backgrounds, religions, and even languages, would end up becoming the perfect match for each other in every single possible way. “We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.” Dr. Seuss

We finally planned our long-awaited Seattle trip last September. Although we travel quite often and visit countless beautiful places, Seattle has become a particularly unique destination for us. The quaint city, the calm coastal beaches, the Pacific whales at San Juan Island, and the romantic getaway in the woods of the Roaring River of Snoqualmie were all delightful additions to top off Nico's surprise proposal on top of the Space Needle at sunset. I didn't know that I was carrying the ring the whole time until Nico got it out of a sunglasses box from my backpack to propose. It is a truly amazing memory and a beautiful start to the beginning of our eternal bond. We're over the moon to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in October!
