Fly into Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Denpasar, just 20–30 minutes from Nusa Dua.
For US, Canadian, and Indian citizens, a visa can be claimed on arrival into Bali (Visa On Arrival). This visa permits stays up to 30 days in Bali. We recommend applying for an e-VOA (Electronic Visa On Arrival) from the Indonesian immigration website - https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/. This will be the smoothest travel experience for getting into Bali. If you need to stay longer, please review the requirements online. If you are traveling from a country not listed here, please review Visa requirements online.
All wedding events will take place at the Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort, so no additional transportation is needed between events. For airport transfers, you can arrange a pickup directly through the hotel or use ride apps like Grab for convenience.
The ceremony and reception will be held at the Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. Please see the “Schedule” page for exact dates and event times. Event locations within the hotel will be provided closer to the event.
We recommend staying at the Sofitel (our venue!). A room block will be available. We will send out an update when the “Travel” page has the group booking link. For additional information on the Sofitel & the airport shuttle, visit the hotel's FAQ Page - https://sofitelbalinusadua.com/faq/
Dress codes will be shared for each event in the coming weeks under the "Schedule" page. Expect tropical Indian formal or beach elegant attire—light fabrics, vibrant colors, and comfortable shoes for the sand!
The Welcome Party and a portion of the Hindu Ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting.
Expect warm, sunny days with temperatures in the mid-80s°F (around 28–30°C). It gets a bit cooler in the evenings with a nice breeze, but it still stays comfortably warm, perfect for enjoying Bali both day and night.
We ask that guests be limited to the guest count allotted on your invite. For clarification, please reach out to either Julie or Sibi.
