Sibella's side of the story: Christopher and I like to say we met on Craiglist, and it's not completely false. I got a call from a friend one day asking if I could tag along on a house tour. She told me she was thinking about renting a room out from some guy in the Navy who owned a house that was close to FSU's campus. I agreed, and we went to go take a look that night. Well, we knocked on the door, it opened, and there was Christopher. He had the biggest smile on his face and gave us friendliest welcome into his home. Long story short, we finished the tour, he was nice and nice to look at. The tour finished, I got back into car and I turned to her and said, "you have to move in immediately". So she moves in after winter break and I still liked looking at the roommate and apparently the roommate liked looking at me too, and the rest is history. Christopher's side of the story:
Chris bought the engagement ring from a jeweler up in Jacksonville. The jeweler happened to be coming to Tampa and decided to drop off the ring. With Chris being out of town that weekend, he thought it would be a great idea for the jeweler to deliver the ring to his buddies at the local bar on a Friday night. For the next few weeks, the ring swapped hands several times so everyone could get a peak at it. Fast forward to March, and it's time for a ski trip with some of their closest friends. All of Chris's friends knew, but none of Sibella's. Chris had booked a photographer to capture the proposal when they were out in the town. Well, in true Chris fashion, he decided to change the plan. This entailed snowboarding up and down the mountain with the ring in his pocket until he felt like the time was right. Thankfully, he doesn't fall much. It was the last run of the day and everyone stopped for pictures on top of the mountain. As Chris and Sibella do, they pose for a picture... and then everybody pulled out their phones. Chris hugged her, whispered something sweet in her ear, then got down on one knee. The crowd went wild.
