LAX is further away (approx: 125 miles from Los Olivos) but offers more flight options. The drive from LAX (2 to 3 hours).
Flight
SBA is the most convenient commercial airport. It is about 7 miles west of downtown Santa Barbara. It is roughly a 40-minute to 1-hour drive to the venue area in Los Olivos/Santa Ynez Valley.
Train
The Amtrak Pacific Surfliner stops in Santa Barbara. Santa Barbara’s train station is located at 209 State Street in Santa Barbara. There’s also a Goleta Station (Amtrak/ Surfliner) at 25 South La Patera Lane, which might be more convenient for some guests depending on where they’re coming from or staying. From Santa Barbara (or its station) to the wedding area (Los Olivos/Santa Ynez Valley): there is a connecting Amtrak bus/“thruway” service in some cases.
