FAQs

The Wedding Website of Shyly Elam and Charlie Neel
Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, with pictures taking place after the ceremony. We will then move inside the venue for the reception.

Question

Are the wedding and reception in separate locations?

Answer

Both the wedding and the reception will take place in the same location.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

We ask our guests to wear semi-formal attire. Semi-formal attire includes dresses, jumpsuits, or suits & ties. Please leave the tuxedos, ballgowns, jeans, and polos at home.

Question

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?

Answer

Fall is an integral part of our wedding; we ask that our guests keep to the fall color palettes such as browns, reds, deep purples, oranges, greens, and yellows. Please leave whites and off-whites exclusive to the bride.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Yes! We love all the kiddos in our families. If you feel that your child/children can comfortably handle the ceremony and reception, we invite them to join us as well.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We will have two entrées, the bride's choice and the groom's choice, as well as a vegan vegetarian option. A formal menu will be provided with your invitation.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be unplugged. Rest assured that there will be plenty of videos and photos available after the wedding. So we ask that our guest simply enjoy the wedding with their phones away.

Question

Where can I stay for your wedding?

Answer

For the convivence of our guests, we've blocked a group of rooms at The Ohioan Hotel and Event Center. Details for reserving a room in our block can be found under the "Travel" page.

Question

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Answer

You can contact both the bride and groom. During the week of the wedding, to reduce stress on us, we kindly request that you contact the matron of honor, the best man, or the parents of the bride and groom with any questions.
