The reason we're all here today- the bride's better half. Nathan is always chasing big goals, deeply caring, spontaneous, and decisive. He never takes life too seriously, but he is also sentimental in ways that catch me off guard. There through thick and thin, he will always be the love of my life and the one I couldn't be more excited to say "I do" to.

The most hardworking and put together woman we know. Mother of three. Her grit and determination are inspiring. My mom is the perfect role model as I strive to balance life as well as she does. I don't know where I would be today without my mom. She cares for my every need, while also caring for the home and our family. She is always there to lend an ear when my day gets rough. She has always been supportive of me in all of my ambitions, including my decision to marry Shylah. My mom is a truly loving and caring person.

The bride's biggest supporter and the closest it gets to unconditional love. My dad is incredibly caring and will sacrifice anything for his family. I admire his hard work and the generosity he shows to those around him. I am beyond blessed to have him walk me down the aisle.

My dad is someone that I truly look up to. He has taught me so many things, whether that be how to fish, how to work on cars, or the importance of being a Godly man. He is someone that I can always count on to be honest with me and give me guidance when I need it most.

Shylah's sister and best friend. She has been there for it all. Her patience and honesty are a blessing to the loving couple and to others around her. I am so thankful to have Kennah by my side as I step into this new phase of life because I know she will always have my back when I need her. She is currently attending Cal Lutheran University to one day share those talents with patients as an occupational therapist.

Lane has been one of my closest friends for almost all of my life. One of my favorite things about Lane is his amazing loyalty. Lane is someone who truly cares for me and he has always made that evident, he is someone that has been there with me throughout all the highs and lows of my life, and I am so glad to have him by my side during one of the most important days of my life.

Best friend to the bride and match maker to the happy couple! The most loyal person you will ever meet, Kendra is a joy to everyone around her, the most caring and genuine friend you could ask for. I am beyond blessed to have met her and to be able to learn from her wisdom daily. She recently finished school with her degree in psychology and is working towards her dream of becoming a biblical counselor.

Andrew is my oldest brother, and he’s been a role model to me for as long as I can remember. He’s one of the hardest working people I know, and anytime something needs to get done especially if it involves a car or a woodworking project he’s the first to roll up his sleeves and help. I know he will always be there for Shylah and me, and I’m grateful to have someone like him in our corner as we start this next chapter.

Younger sister to the groom, sweet and confident. Taylor is always there to help those around her. A great aunt to her nieces and nephews, she is dependable and responsible. Taylor is involved in children's ministry and youth group at South Valley AV. She also has a great sense of humor and I can always count on her to make the evenings fun with sunset watching, getting boba, baking, or just talking about life.

I've known Luke since second grade when he and his family moved to Lancaster. We've shared countless memories over the years from playing football on the same teams throughout school, attending youth group together every Wednesday night, and spending countless nights sleeping on the trampoline in my backyard. Luke will always be like a brother to me

Older sister to the groom, Amber cares for her family and friends and helps our visions come to life. Dedicated mother of two and wife to Ian, Amber is a great caretaker to those around her. Amber and I enjoy running, making ceramics, and doing nails together. I admire her friendly and easy going nature and am grateful for her friendship every day.

Michael is one of my older brothers, and anyone who knows him would tell you he’s one of the most loyal and generous people they’ve ever met. He’s the kind of person who would drop everything he’s doing when you need him and gives without ever expecting anything in return. I know without a doubt that he’ll always be there for Shylah and me, no matter the circumstance. I’m grateful to have him standing by my side on one of the biggest days of my life.

Cousin to the bride, Sophie is creative and caring. She is the best partner for trivia, well travelled, and has a heart for those in need. Her sweet smile brightens any room and I am inspired by the way she shows up for those she loves. I am truly blessed to have Sophie in my life.

Brother to the bride, Chase is smart, athletic, and well spoken. He has a creative mind and is extremely innovative. I loved helping care for him as he grew up, but now I often find him caring for me. Chase just finished his senior year at Desert Christian and has a bright future ahead! I am so thankful he can be a part of the big day.

Cousin to the bride, Ella is fun and sweet, the most selfless person on the face of the planet. She is incredibly kind and lights up the room with her smile. Always down for a game night with the family. She is currently studying business marketing at Cal State San Marcos.
Ian van Boheeman

Ian is my brother-in-law and is married to my sister Amber. He’s the kind of guy who’s always down for anything whether it’s running to the store, helping me with geometry homework in high school, or helping with whatever project I have going on around the house. He’s always willing to lend a hand when I need it. He and Amber are also a huge reason why Shylah and I are together in the first place, they gave me tons of advice and encouraged me to pursue a relationship with her. It means a lot to have both of them standing beside us for our wedding.

Cousin to the bride, beautiful, bold, and inspiring. We always appreciate that Sadie will partake in any challenge or adventure with us. She is willing to do all the hard work for any goal she sets her mind to. I am inspired by her determination and discipline. Sadie also has a great sense of humor and never fails to make me laugh. She is currently attending High School, babysitting her cousins, and helping out on her parent's Winery.

Colton and I became good friends in high school, and he’s always been the “down for anything” guy in our group. Some of my favorite memories are from hanging out at Shylah’s house with him making gingerbread houses, or going to youth group together, or going over to his house with Luke and Lane to watch movies and play board games. He’s the kind of friend who keeps everything fun and never overcomplicates anything. I’m really glad to have him standing with me for the wedding.

Jess is a great friend to the bride and the most intentional person we know. She consistently makes others feel important and valued and has a servant's heart. She is currently studying psychology to share those talents with others. Jess is a great friend to me and someone I know I can count on when I need it. She also brightens the mood of any day and can make even mundane tasks feel exciting. I value her friendship deeply and am honored to have her stand by my side.

Cousin to the bride, always down for a good time, makes you laugh so hard it hurts. Kannon is a great listener and conversationalist. Outgoing and confident, always up for some friendly competition. He is dedicated and will meet any goal he sets for himself. I enjoy meaningful conversations and hanging out at Bass Lake with him. He is currently attending Great Oaks High School and is a star football player.

Nephew to the groom, Emmett is the cutest baby with the cutest smile. He holds a special place in Nathan's heart, as his middle name is 'Nathan'. We had to honor that by giving Emmett the job of ring bearer while his brothers and cousin are the ring security. We are so excited to see all the little cousins dressed up together and celebrating with us.

Shylah and I have both had the honor of having Matt as our youth pastor and now as our head pastor. One of our favorite qualities about Matt is his genuine caring nature. Throughout all the years we've known him, he has always made the time to check in with us and spend time with us. We are truly grateful for the impact that he has had on our lives.
