There are so many amazing things to do in the Oneonta-Cooperstown area. Take the morning and check out the Farmers' Museum in Cooperstown. Cooperstown has the Baseball Hall of Fame as well as some lovely shops to walk around. In Oneonta you can check out some of the small local museums as well as a variety of restaurants.
Of course don't forget the ceremony is at Gilbert Lake State Park which has more than 12 miles of interconnected trails as well as a Nature Center.
