Shy and Jason met while attending The University of Mount Union. The two of them love working out and frequented the same athletic facility every week. Shy would joke with Jason that he was always doing the same workout. The two of them continued the banter for a couple of years until they were a junior and senior — ironically living one floor apart in the same apartment building. In March 2021, Jason asked Shy to be his girlfriend (finally) and never looked back (silly guy). The two graduated from UMU in May 2022 and immediately began building their lives together — moving from Alliance, OH to Cleveland, OH where they both began in the corporate world. They added a third member to their family (not what you think.....) named Cain — a Blue Heeler with more energy than Shy and Jason combined (and that is saying a lot). Purchased a home together — and now spend much of their time traveling — their most recent trip being to New Zealand (110% recommend). Jason proposed to Shy in Lake Placid, NY in August 2024 and the wedding planning began. Five years later and these memories feel just like yesterday and they are eager for all of the memories to come but so grateful for all they have built. <3
