It started in December 2020 (mid-covid) and like many others, we turned to online dating. Shout out to Hinge! We matched and Ryan started the conversation with some cheesy line but Shyanne went with it. After a few days of chatting Ryan knew Shyanne would be going out of town soon so he planned a date. The First Date: We met at a restaurant for a casual dinner. Conversation was easy and light hearted! FUN FACT: Our second date was on Christmas EVE- Ryan was stuck in Ennis while his family is in Houston for Christmas this year because of work and Shyanne had just got back to town from a vacation that ended a day early. We decided to go look at Christmas lights and of course Shyanne brought a bottle of wine to break the ice. Since our first date we have shared countless memories from our early days of spontaneous adventures and late-night conversations to moments of comfort and support during challenging times, each memory holds a special place in our hearts. Reflecting on the memories we’ve shared over the years made our relationship into what it is today! December 10th, 2020- SWIPED RIGHT 💌 December 17th, 2020- First Date January 30th, 2021- Trip to Broken Bow & We became “official”🥰 December 28th, 2021- We said goodbye to our bestie- Moose February 26th, 2022- Arlo’s kidnapping day 🐾 September 11th, 2022- Ryan left to work in Colorado/New Mexico for 8 months May 2023- Ryan got a promotion and was able to come home from working out of state!! June 28th, 2023- Costa Rica with Shyanne’s Family (Our favorite vacation yet!) 🌊🏝️ October 9th, 2023- THE PROPOSAL 💍 ✨ THE PROPOSAL ✨ Marriage was in the play book at this point - and we had a trip planned to go to Boston/Cape Cod for Ryans birthday, this is where Shyanne thought he would pop the question. A few weeks before this Ryan planned a date to the Lantern Festival that happened to feature one of our favorite artist, Ian Munsick. After Ian Munsick performed they had a lantern release and in this moment is when Ryan proposed! 🥰 Now, as we prepare to start this new chapter together, we are so thankful for the love and support of our family and friends. Our wedding day will be a celebration of love and the promise of a lifetime of happiness together.
