We met at Lincoln Middle School. Shyanne was from Bessie Hoffman, and I came from Brick Elementary. We had yet to realize our paths would cross even though our mutual friends knew each other. When I first saw her, I immediately knew there was something unique about Shyanne. Once we were in the same class one of our mutual friends would introduce us to each other. Alongside Shyanne was also one of her bridesmaids; one of her Maid of Honor girls, Andrea. Shyanne and I would grow closer and closer from that moment on. Shyanne always liked how I was myself around her and would help make her smile and laugh, and she would do the same for me. We would soon hang out more, and it almost felt as if we were the ones in a relationship, even though for years we weren't yet. We loved going to the park with our friends and family together. Our first date together was at Putterz in Ypsilanti. We would grow closer together and soon more than best friends. One day, a couple of years after high school, we went on a movie date, and saw Ted 2 together. I put my arms around her and we ended up cuddling. Later that day, on 06/29/2015, we shared our first kiss. We would soon become official on September 9th that same year, and the year after we would begin our tradition of going to the Zoo as a date for our anniversary. We always loved going on road trips with each other and doing various fun activities like Cedar Point, sports events, camping, NASCAR races and much more! I would make one of the biggest decisions of my life and propose to Shyanne right at the Toledo Zoo on December 26th, 2020. That's what leads us to our special moment coming up, it's been an amazing journey thus far with my best friend, my partner, and future wife! We're excited to make many more awesome memories together. Our story is very cool, you could say we're childhood friends/high school sweethearts, but we personally will never be able to deny the spark we feel every time we gaze upon each other.
