For Friday, the best way to get to the marina is probably by taxi. The marina is accessible by foot, however the nearest subway station to it is on 23rd Street & Park Avenue, which is about a 20 minutes walk.
For Saturday, the nearest subway station to the garden is on 14th Street & 1st Avenue, which is a nice 10-15 minutes walk in our neighborhood. So either a subway+walk or a taxi directly to the garden could be good options. Please note: the event will take place at the La Plaza Cultural community garden, on the south-west corner of the intersection between 9th Street and Avenue C — not at the address found on some of the paper invitations!
This is a pretty informal community garden event, so we recommend a Dressy Casual attire: festive, comfortable, and fun! No expectation of suits or high heels (though they’re not unwelcome, of course!).
We recognize the distance that many of you will be traveling to attend our wedding, and are so happy you will join us - we need nothing more than that for ourselves! We therefore don't expect any wedding gifts.

It’s pretty much been outlawed, but there are Airbnb options in New Jersey that could be more affordable than NYC hotels. Staying close to one of the PATH train stations (in particular Hoboken or Newport) makes it very easy to get to Manhattan quickly.
