Ethan and I first met one evening in Shawnee. My friends and I were out driving around when we came upon a “car meet” that Ethan was hosting in a store parking lot. We pulled in to check it out and Ethan waved us over to talk. We introduced ourselves then left because it was boring. A couple of months later, I saw him again at a mutual friend’s house. He came up to me saying “Hey, I know you!” But I honestly I had no idea who this guy was at first. Then, I remembered…he was the tall dude at the car meet! He then proceeded to ask for my phone number (which I later learned was part of a bet with his friends)! We saw each other a few times after that. But when the quarantine hit - that’s when we really started spending a lot of time together. Ethan delivered Postmates every day until 2 o’clock in the morning and I’d ride along with him. We slowly got to know each other. Sometimes our friends would meet up and we would explore OKC.

To start off with, neither of us had been on a date before, so it was a very special day . It started out with me picking up Ethan at his house because he didn’t have a car. (How romantic lol) He then drove us to Qdoba were we had our ‘gourmet meal’ then to a drive in movie. This was one of my favorite dates, hands down and don’t worry, he takes me to nicer restaurants now.

It all started with planning our 2 year anniversary trip to Dallas. Ethan had already bought the ring months in advance and I had no idea. On June 4th, our second anniversary, we had plans to go to RH Rooftop; a very nice restaurant, but at the last minute, I changed my mind and wanted pizza. Ethan was freaking out because his plan was to propose at the restaurant. Luckily, he convinced me to stay with the original plan. When we finished with our meal, we went to the rooftop to watch the sunset. As we set our phone up to take a photo, I noticed the phone was recording. Then I turned to see Ethan down on one knee and popping the question! I was completely shocked and thrilled! I had no idea!!
