Given that we are living in the age of a ranging pandemic, personal safety is of utmost priority. Also there is the need to comply with governmental guidelines with respect to Covid-19. Therefore, our ceremony will have 10 individuals physically present. However, we are currently examining the logistics of inviting specified number to witness our nuptial virtually with the aid of the video conferencing platform Zoom.
Oh how we love to party! Unfortunately, safety guidelines and governmental restrictions make a reception inappropriate at this time. Therefore, we are focusing on the legal and ceremonial aspect of our marriage. But, have no fear! You will get your party as long we - Shyaam and Michelle- both shall live....
Yes, there are. We are currently seeking out vendors and examining their packages. Furthermore, the selected vendor will be provided with a detailed list of poses so that every thing can take place decently and by arrangement.
Some photos will be taken at the venue of the ceremony. It is also our intention to have others taken at the promenade gardens or at a private studio. The reason for the uncertainty with the final two venues, that is, the gardens and the studio, is because our current weather pattern might necessitate a change. Therefore, whichever venue is more expedient or convenient on the day in question is the one that will be used.
It is our aim to rigidly comply with governmental and safety regulations in this matter. These guidelines are still evolving and with the advent of the vaccination drive, matters of this nature may be fluid based on location and conscience. Our aim is to have no more than 20 persons for the photoshoot. However, some will likely take photos at the ceremonial venue while others will do so at the gardens and/or private studio. With that said, there will never be more than 10 individuals assembling for photos at any given time.
We are a pro-vaccination couple. Hence it is our aim to encourage all of the individuals physically present for our ceremony and photoshoot to get vaccinated. This is because vaccinated individuals can enjoy a greater degree of flexibility than unvaccinated ones particularly with respect to social gatherings. We strongly believe that the benefits greatly outweigh any perceived disadvantages. However, we also respect the right of others of make a personal decision in this matter and we also expect that they would respect our position as well. With that said, any unvaccinated individuals present will be required to adhere strictly to all covid-19 regulations and bear the responsibility or any choices they make.
We refuse to set rigid guidelines when it comes to gift-giving. However, we believe that monetary gifts would be more practical. This helps to prevent unnecessary duplication of items we already possess. But, this does not mean that the giver can't shop for a tangible item. To help all well intentioned individuals make up their minds, please check the registry section of our websites for gift ideas and options within your budget
It is our aim to provide prospective guests with 3-4 weeks notice via invitation. These will be distributed virtually between the 24th and 30th of June, 2021.
