Tanya Muecke

Tanya welcomed Sarah into her life, back in the year 1990. Tanya was a already a seasoned older sibling thanks to Sarah's other sister, Janelle, but gladly accepted another sister to the family. Sarah thanks Tanya for that, along with all the guidance and sisterly love she has provided over the years. However, most importantly Sarah owes Tanya for her love of Virginia Tech. Had it not been for Tanya setting the bar high and paving the Hokie pathway, Sarah would have most likely ended up at a subpar school, because we all know VT is the best, right? Go Hokies! Sarah is happy that her older sister is able to continue to support her throughout her journey and stand by her side on the big day.
Aaron Morgan
Best Man
Aaron is Andrew's younger brother, and best friend. They have shared many experiences, including bruises, family vacations, being in trouble, nervousness about report cards (mostly Andrew), sports, outdoor activities, etc. Even with 8 years separating the two, they have remained best friends and are constant supporters in each others endeavors and mischief. They share their passion for working out, being goofy, gaming, watching movies, and pursuing their careers. Andrew and Aaron are both alum of West Virginia University, and share a love of the Mountaineers. Even with Aaron's successful career, Andrew still feels the need to play "big brother,' and attempt to provide as much brotherly support as possible. Aaron currently lives in Redding CA, where is a registered dietitian.
Janelle Shuster

Almost three decades ago, Sarah donned Janelle the title of middle child. From sharing trundlebeds, to their love for swimming, and foot massages in exchange for nighttime stories, Sarah always looked up to Janelle as an inspiration. Sarah followed in both her older sisters' footsteps to attend Virginia Tech. Janelle made sure that Sarah's freshman year was full of excitement that only two sisters attending the same school could experience. In exchange for season football tickets, Sarah made sure to repay her sister in plenty of trips to D2. Sarah is excited to continue sharing life experiences with Janelle on her big day.
Michael Menear

Mike and Andrew met at West Virginia University in graduate school. After the first semester, they became roommates throughout the remainder of their time at WVU. Mike and Andrew have always been the closest of friends, and have supported each other through the very highs and the lowest low's in school, as well as navigating their early professional career. From inappropriate jokes, 3 hour workouts, nightlife, and outdoor activities, Mike and Andrew have had many memorable experiences since 2006. Mike currently practices as a Physical Therapist in West Virginia with his wife Whitney and two sons.
Anna Shuster

Anna became the final completion to the Shuster-Sisters. Although there are many years that stand between the two, Sarah was able to refine her pedatric skills from a young age caring for Anna as an infant. What better way than having her own real-life baby doll! Anna quickly followed in Sarah's footsteps with many shared similarities and passions throughout life, ranging from dance, to horse-back riding, as well as the Virginia Tech Hokies. Now, Anna gets the opportunity to take care of Sarah on her wedding day as a bridesmaid; finalizing the bridal party for 4/4 Shuster Hokies!
Jesse Neely

Jesse and Andrew met through mutual friends at West Virginia University in the Exercise Physiology program. After moving to Tennessee for his first job, Andrew settled down in Knoxville TN where, simply by chance, Jesse had moved for his job at GCR Tire. Their friendship quickly grew into a brotherly bond. From providing a temporary home for Andrew when he first moved to Knoxville, to countless weekends on the lake, exploring Knoxville, and skiing trips, Andrew and Jesse shared countless fun and hilarious memories and experiences. Jesse has always provided support and open/honest encouragement for Andrew during his post graduate journey. Jesse and his wife Kara live in Knoxville with their two sons, where he works for the Bridgestone mining division of GCR tire.
Emily Tsantes

Emily and Sarah met on the Virginia Tech pool deck, way back when, sophomore year of college. Emily was sitting out of practice due to an injury, while Sarah offered some (minimal) athletic training assistance via an ice pack. After the first awkward 'getting-to-know-you' conversation, it was clear that these two would become great friends. Endless days, nights, parties, and Hokie sporting events spent together, these two shared some of the best memories from the college years. Although many miles separate the two, Emily and Sarah continue to make the best attempts to see each other a few, but most cherished, times a year. Sarah was able to stand by Emily on her big day, and cannot wait to have her do the same for Sarah and Andrew.
Casey Robinson

Casey and Andrew met at West Virginia University in the Exercise Physiology program. Coincidentally, Casey was also in the Physical Therapy program, one year behind Andrew. They became acquaintances through graduate school. Several years following graduation, Casey and his wife Danielle, moved to Knoxville TN. Andrew and Casey were able to grow their friendship into something special. Being an outpatient therapist, Andrew was able to form a friendly and professional bond with Casey, who was also practiced in outpatient. The two got into lots of trouble on the lake, and had many hilarious and long lasting memories in Knoxville. Casey and his wife Danielle currently live in Knoxville TN with their son and daughter, where he practices Physical Therapy.
Brandy Preisendanz

Brandy and Sarah met back in high school when Sarah had recently moved from England to Poquoson. Sarah barely knew anyone and Brandy quickly accepted her as a friend. She showed Sarah around all the hot-spots in town, drove her around top-down in her Mustang convertible, and spent many evenings at the local coffee joint, Harbor Espresso, chatting away about life. These memorable high school years quickly turned into college memories when Sarah and Brandy became roommates at Virginia Tech. Many all-nighters, tears, laughter, pokey stix, and questionable homework assignments later, Brandy and Sarah stuck by each others sides. Sarah could not be more excited for Brandy to now stand by her side on the big day.
Sam Jeyatheva

Sam and Andrew met in Johnson City in 2015 at the Everplay Sports league. Sam was the very first person Andrew met in the league at the signup for kickball, and the two quickly formed a special friendship. Sam was immediately very welcoming, professional, kind, and always had a level head in every situation. He constantly showed a positive attitude, and he and Andrew constantly provided encouragement to each other regarding their careers, as well as shared many pints. Andrew and Sam shared a variety of both hilarious and wild memories in Johnson City. Even though Sam moved to California for his career, their friendship remains consistently solid. Sam and his wife Ellen live in San Francisco with their dog Cali, where he works in IT at Apple.
Mary Claire Clark

Back in high school, Mary Claire quickly reached out to Sarah who was the new girl in town. They instantly became close friends, spending many fun-filled hours at Younglife, Sailing club (Yes, we competetively sailed in school), and making many teenager mistakes/near death experiences, together while learning how to navigate through life. Mary Claire and Sarah parted ways in college, but always remained in touch. 4 years apart was far too long for Sarah so she decided what better idea than to uproot life in VA to move to Knoxville, Tennessee. Sarah and Mary Claire became post-grad roommates and it was there, they both met their spouses (to be). Sarah was honored to support Mary Claire on her wedding day, and it is an honor for her to have Mary stand by her as she weds the love of her life.

Taylor and Andrew met in Johnson City during the 2016 Summer Everplay Sport League. Taylor and Andrew instantly shared a passion for fitness and breweries. Taylor has always been a positive force in Andrew's life, and is constantly seeing the absolute best in situations. Andrew and Taylor spend many weekends enjoying the outdoors, cooking, and time at the pool. They shared countless laughs, as well as supporting each other through trials in everyday life. Taylor and his wife Jordan, live in McKinney TX, where he works as a chemical engineer at Solvay.
Kristen Farren

Kristen and Sarah met the first day on the job working as a new grad pediatric occupational therapist. Kristen immediately took Sarah under her wing and mentored her while she navigated through the up's and downs of a new job. They immediately became great friends as Kristen perfectly complimented Sarah's 'type B' personality. It was as if Kristen was Sarah's long-lost 4'th sister having known each other all along. In just a few short months, Sarah and Kristen have created and continue to create some amazing memories in Charlotte, NC. Sarah knew Kristen would be the perfect addition to help her through the up's and downs of wedding planning, and to stand by her side on the big day.
Jon Denton

Johnny and Andrew met in Johnson City in 2011 at the Gym. They instantly shared a love for football, fitness, beers, and politics. Johnny provides a consistent positive outlook on life, and way an unwavering support system throughout Andrew's career and growth as an individual. Andrew and Johnny spent many weekend cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, as well as watching College Football. As a fun-loving, genuine country man, Johnny brings a fun and unique atmosphere to every situation. Johnny currently lives in Johnson City where he operates his own Tree Trimming service as well as working for LHC Homecare.
