FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The wedding attire is Garden Party Formal. Think dressy, colorful summer dresses and light-khakis and a crisp dress shirt.

Question

Can I bring additional guests?

Answer

While usually we would say the more the merrier, we have a limited capacity for the wedding venue. Only guests who RSVP for the wedding will be allowed to attend.

Question

Where can I stay?

Answer

We have a limited number of lodging options on-site which will be reserved for our wedding party, immediate family, and friends visiting from far away. If we did not contact you regarding on-site lodging, there are hotel accommodations available down the mountain listed on our website. For guests who accidentally have a little too much to drink, we will have a few beds and couches available to sleep on at the venue the night of the wedding. Keep in mind that the drive to the venue is very windy, so be sober when driving please!

Question

How long is your wedding anyway?

Answer

We have access to the wedding venue starting 3pm Friday, July 12th until 11am Sunday, July 14th. Those staying on-site can check in on Friday afternoon. Our rehearsal dinner will be at the venue on Friday night, the wedding ceremony and reception will occur Saturday, and there will be a brunch Sunday morning. We have limited availability for each event, so please only come to events you have RSVP’d for.

Question

Should I bring anything?

Answer

The venue has great lawn space for games, a small pool, and many hikes around the area! Think of the summer camp of your childhood. All are encouraged to bring lawn games, blankets to lay out on, hiking shoes and clothes, and a swim suit for the pool. There will also be an optional yoga session Saturday morning if you would like to bring a yoga mat.

Question

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

The wedding will take place outdoors under the redwood trees. Cocktails hour and the wedding reception dinner will also be outdoors, but indoor space and lounging will also be available to all.
