Question

What is your COVID protocol?

Answer

For the safety of all of our wedding guests, especially grandparents and those who are immunocompromised, we are requiring that all guests are fully vaccinated against SARS-CoV2 according to CDC guidelines by May 5, 2022, one month before the time of the wedding; have tested negative for COVID up to 72 hours before June 5, 2022; and are not experiencing flu like symptoms up to 14 days before June 5, 2022. Find at-home Covid tests and test locations location here: https://www.covidtests.gov/ Masks will likely be required in indoor venue spaces, but it is important to remember everyone will be eating and drinking during the reception without masks on. This is why we request that everyone in attendance please do their part to keep everyone safe. By entering the venue, you are stating that you are fully vaccinated and healthy. Question

General Disclaimer

Answer

If you are unable to attend, or feel uncomfortable attending, for any reason, including protecting your own mental/physical health and safety, or the health and safety of others, please do not feel obligated to attend. We will miss you, but we love and respect your decision. We encourage you to care for your own well-being before all else.

Question

How many people are invited/expected to attend?

Answer

At this time we are expecting roughly 100 guests to attend. (Updated April 16, 2022)

Question

Can I bring a guest with me?

Answer

Check your invitation, and if it says your name "and guest", then yes. If your invitation only has your name and does not have information about a guest, then we would prefer to just have you attend.

Question

What, specifically, is on the Menu?

Answer

If you're like us, you want to know exactly what will be on the menu. Olive, our caterer, has curated a beautiful meal of the following items. Passed Hors D'oeuvres: Caprese Skewers and Fizzy Fiery, Gazpacho with Plump Shrimp. Buffet: Spinach Blackberry Salad with Lemon Poppyseed Dressing; Bread + Whipped Butter; Chilled Grilled Veggie Platter of Asparagus, Carrots, Cherry Tomatoes, Red Onions + Zucchini; Roasted Fingerling Potatoes with Lemon + Dill; Grilled Eggplant Stacks with Cashew Ricotta + Basil (Vegan); Chicken Au Champagne. Dessert Station: Lemon Bars with Berries (GF/DF); Chocolate + Vanilla Bean Cheesecake Bars with Chocolate Drizzle + Chocolate Curls (GF). All food will be devoid of sunflower/safflower, mushrooms, buckwheat and rhubarb. We are hoping the menu we have chosen will provide delicious options for everyone in attendance.

Question

Drinks?

Answer

We will be providing an open bar with beer and wine selections, as well as Elderflower Gin + Tonics and Jalapeño Margaritas. A selection of non-alcoholic beverages will also be available, including soda, coffee, and tea. If you would like to tip the bartender, please bring cash!

Question

Can I bring my own food and drink to the venue?

Answer

No. The Guild KC does not allow any outside food or drink. If you have specific dietary needs please specify them in your RSVP so that our caterer can accommodate you.
