What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at 4:30 pm. The processional will begin at 4:45 pm. The ceremony will start precisely at 5:00 pm.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Parking is available for free in the Buffalo History Museum parking lot.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal, black tie optional. Examples include tuxedos, evening suits, floor-length or tea-length dresses, gowns, or skirts. Please refrain from wearing white, ivory, or gold. Colors welcome!

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside. Please keep this in mind when selecting footwear. The reception will take place inside the museum. In case of rain or snow, the ceremony will be moved inside.

What are the menu options?

Answer

You can select one of the following main entree options: 1. Braised Beef Short Rib [Dairy Free | Gluten Free] Boneless beef ribs, seasoned and pan-seared. Braised for 4 hours in a rich reduction of red wine, herbs, and mirepoix. Finished with roasted pearl onions, wild mushrooms, and spiked carrots in a red wine reduction. 2. Herb Roasted Salmon Fillet [Gluten Free] Whole salmon, perfectly portioned into 6oz fillets, roasted with herbs and seasoning. Paired with a traditional Beurre Blanc—white wine, shallots, and citrus juices and zests, reduced and emulsified with cool butter for a rich, velvety finish. 3. Vegetarian | Vegan | Halal * Balsamic marinated whole portobello mushroom cap char grilled and served over a pureed fire roasted red pepper sauce. All entrees are served with roasted fingerling potatoes and grilled asparagus. *Please note the number of Vegetarian | Vegan | Halal options may be limited.

Are we able to view the exhibits at the Museum?

Yes. The exhibits and items on display at the Buffalo History Museum will be accessible to all guests throughout the event. Please follow all posted Museum rules and guidelines and be respectful of the space while wandering the exhibits.

Is the Museum handicapped accessible?

Answer

Yes. All locations inside and outside the museum are accessible either by ramp or elevator.
