Some say love only takes a smile, a look, an unexpected moment. No one has ever said it takes a desire to swim, run and crawl to mud and has nothing to do with the other person. ...until now! No one has said that it take physical discomfort, sweating and yelling at a bunch of people to peddle faster, add more resistance and stand up to add more and peddle even faster ...until now! Our story does in fact start in a spin class to which Fredi went to get fit for Tough Mudder and to which Jessica went to subject a bunch of random people to the “Shurtz method” which means making things harder the more you exercise with no rest at all. She of course never admits that is the case. After some time in class Fredi had made the decision to ask Jessica out but as luck would have it Google came to the rescue. The critical conversation moved towards it’s inevitable end. Fredi’s heart was racing, peripheral vision was disappearing, muscles tensing in preparation to run away in shame. You know, the feeling all men have before asking someone out. Out of nowhere the question “Can you help me with Analytics?” was uttered. Victory!! “Yes I can!” Later in the week an awkward meeting took place at a Starbucks. One did not consider it a date, the other did not know if it was or wasn’t a date. Time passed and conversation flowed until hours later, as Starbucks was closing, Analytics had not been discussed. The rest, as they say, is history and if you don’t know us very well, the lack of detail in this story is because, I, Fredi, wrote it. I have full faith that Jessica is going to give you more than enough additional detail if you ask her.
