FAQs

This page will be updated as we get closer to our wedding date and as more information becomes available. If you have any questions in the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out – we're happy to help!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 17th, 2025 by clicking the 'RSVP' tab in the menu above. If you do not RSVP by this date, you will be marked as 'not attending' as we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors.

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please RSVP 'Will NOT Attend.' If you have already RSVP'd 'Attending', but find that you will not make it, please notify Alyssa (619) 746-5578 or Jake (217) 519-9031.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at Williams Orchard at 4 pm CST. A shuttle will take everyone to the ceremony in the woods, which starts at 4:30 pm CST

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We'd love to include everyone, but due to limited space, only guests who received a plus one on their invitation can bring a guest. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love all of the children in our lives, but this is an adults-only event, with the exception of our flower girl and ring bearer.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking all phones to be put away and on silent/turned off during our ceremony so that all guests can be present with us. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want! We will share all of our photos as soon as possible!

Question

Where should I stay for the wedding weekend?

Answer

We really appreciate everyone who is traveling to be with us on our special day! Please visit our 'Travel' tab to see hotels in the area. There are Airbnbs around the area as well!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that our guests wear semi-formal attire to help us celebrate! For women, cocktail or midi dresses are perfect. That said, we want everyone to feel their best, and since it is summer, wear whatever makes you feel confident and comfortable. For men, suits or dress pants with a button-down shirt work well; jackets and ties are welcome but not required. The venue has several grassy areas, so please keep this in mind when choosing footwear! Lastly, we kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white, ivory, beige, champagne, or similar shades, as those are reserved for the bridal party.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are not providing transportation to and from the venue. Parking is available on-site, but we strongly encourage guests to carpool or arrange alternative transportation if needed to ensure everyone stays safe.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a fully stocked open bar with beer, wine, and a variety of spirits so you can mix your own drinks or request something from the bartender.

Question

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will take place outdoors in the woods, with plenty of shade provided by the trees. Afterward, cocktail hour will be held back at the venue, where you'll find cocktail tables with umbrellas, comfy couches, and the option to head inside the barn. Dinner will also be outside, but to help keep things comfortable, we’ll have both handheld and floor fans for a refreshing breeze.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We'd love for you to join us for a cocktail welcome party with drinks and mingling from 7-9 pm CST on Friday, July 11th at 1251 Pine Lake Ave, La Porte, IN 46350. Dressy casual attire, no RSVP needed!
