Adam and Brittany first met each other at Trident Mortgage the summer of 2013. Brittany was heading into her last year at Immaculata University and Adam had just started with the company a few months prior. Adam was given strict instructions by his boss to not pursue "the new intern" due to being a VP's daughter which he took very very seriously....2-3 weeks went by in which Adam attempted casual conversation, however Brittany could barely muster up a few words in response due to finding him very handsome and out of her league. Adam then reached out through email chat (Brittany could handle this much better as human to human communication is tough being a Millennial) and asked her out to lunch. They spent a few lunch dates together leading Adam to ask Brittany to spend July 4th weekend at his family's shore house with him. They decided to officially enter into a relationship together and sealed it with a kiss on the beach under the fireworks.

Adam and Brittany usually spend their weekends around the house, visiting family or hosting friends. It is not typical for them to be apart during the weekends however Saturday March 2nd was a different story. Brittany had a tough day of working on the weekend, attending a nail appointment in which Adam enlisted a friend to set up (kudos!), more work and her car failing inspection. Due to her tough day Adam agreed to meet a few friend's at their favorite brewery to shake the day off. Once home, Adam and Brittany were playing with their dog Nala when Adam and Nala bolted upstairs (this was all part of a previous pact between man and dog that Brittany wasn't included in). "OH NO NALA WHAT DID YOU DO?" is what Brittany heard from downstairs. Stomping up the stairs she went after them to see what damage had been done except she did not find any. Instead Adam turned around, got down on one knee and proposed. Brittany obviously said YES! They both called their families and celebrated with a champagne toast at their favorite restaurant in West Chester.
