2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Cocktail attire
This is the big part! 2:00pm Tisch and Bedeken: The tisch is open to everyone, and it's totally appropriate to come in the middle of it. During the tisch we will sing together, drink, have some food, and hear a few l'chaims (toasts). Tisch means table, so all this will be done around a large table. At the end of our tisch, we will have a bedeken, which means veiling ceremony. You can read more about what a traditional tisch and bedeken look like here (note that ours will look a little different!): https://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/before-the-jewish-wedding-ceremony/ 3:00pm Chuppah (ceremony). While you can arrive in the middle of the tisch, please do your best to arrive promptly before 3:00 so there are no disruptions during the ceremony itself. After the ceremony, we'll have cocktail hour and then move into the reception. The shuttle will leave for the city at 8:30pm, but we'll be dancing until 10pm. The ceremony will be live streamed at https://bit.ly/45CyXBb
8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
It's the same location, same room, same people. But the music may be less family-appropriate! All are welcome :)
