When I was a freshman in college, my roommate was asked to a formal by someone else in our dorm building. She didn't want to go alone, so she asked him to bring her friends; he ended up with 3 dates that evening! Claude was a brother at that same fraternity and, along with a few other brothers, hadn't invited anyone to the formal. When they saw us girls sitting at a table alone, they came over and asked us to dance. I ended up dancing with Claude and we immediately hit it off! The rest of the night was spent dancing, laughing, and getting to know each other. The next week he sent cookies and a sweet note via my roommate's date and we have been inseparable ever since!

Claude and I went on a long weekend trip to Miami to celebrate our friend's birthday last August. On our way to her "birthday" dinner, we made a detour for pictures by the water and that is where he got down on one knee! We celebrated the whole weekend and even got to extend our stay an extra night because our original flight was canceled due to weather.
