Address: Via del Termine, 11, 50127 Firenze FI, Italy Closest airport to the venue, but has very limited direct flights from North America. Most parties will need to fly and then transfer from a European airport such as London Heathrow or Frankfurt Airport to get here.

Leonard De Vinci-Fiumicino (FCO)

Address: Via Pierpaolo Racchetti, 1, 00054 Fiumicino RM, Italy This airport is located in Rome and has the most international flights coming in and going out from the USA to Italy. You can fly directly to this airport more easily, but will need to take either a high speed train (which will be about 2.5 hours from this airport to the Florence train station) or an airport bus / shuttle (which will take around 4-5 hours to arrive).

Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) → Florence (SMN) by High-Speed Train

Option 1: Via Rome Termini or Tiburtina (Most Common) 1. After landing, follow signs for “Treni / Trains” to Fiumicino Aeroporto station. Buy tickets at Trenitalia machines or counters. 2. Take the Leonardo Express to Roma Termini (32 min, €14, every 15–30 min). Validate paper tickets before boarding. 3. At Roma Termini (or Tiburtina), transfer to a high-speed train (Trenitalia Frecciarossa or Italo) to Firenze S.M.N. - Duration: 1h30m | Cost: €30–€75 | Frequency: ~2–3/hour. 4. Arrive at Firenze Santa Maria Novella station, central downtown Florence. Option 2: Direct High-Speed Train (Limited Service) Occasional direct Frecciarossa or Italo from Fiumicino Aeroporto → Firenze S.M.N. (~2h15m, 1–2/day). Check Trenitalia or Italo websites for schedules. Ideal if flight arrival matches train time. Luggage & Comfort Tips • Luggage racks and overhead shelves available; no luggage fees. • Business/Executive classes offer more space and quiet. • Food and beverages available onboard; Wi-Fi on most trains. Traveler Tips • Plan at least 4–5 hours buffer after flight arrival before booking your Florence train. • Roma Termini is large; allow 10–15 minutes for transfers. • Seat reservation included in ticket; use Trenitalia or Italo app to check platform info. • If arriving after 9 p.m., consider overnighting near Rome Termini.
