friends from the womb and born 7 days apart, aashka and shruti have known each other their entire lives. it brings a whole new meaning to best friends forever. and though distance has separated the two for a large part of their lives, it's been effortless keeping in touch. as kids (and with the help of their parents) they used to send each other gifts for birthdays. now, the material gifts have been replaced with more meaningful phone calls and quality time spent together when the opportunities come up. shruti is so grateful to have aashka in her wedding and can't imagine it any other way.

a wedding wouldn't be complete without a best man and jordan have been great friends since their days back in college at OU. they shared plenty of great moments such as going to OUTX down in dallas, being roommates their last year in college, having beers for happy hour on campus corner and you can't forget trivia night at o'connells! here's to plenty of trips down the road especially when the World Cup comes to the US...

rumsha was one of shruti's very first friends in college at UTDallas. they met at comet camp (whoosh!), and hit it off instantly, clearly because they are both Leos. the fiery and ferocious duo have been best friends ever since. rumsha has remained a constant confidant for shruti and has always provided a warm and positive energy for shruti to absorb. from studying(ish) for ochem finals, to flawlessly keeping in touch post-college, rumsha and shruti's friendship has remained as effortless and special as day one!

tony and Rafael have been great friends since college and have shared plenty of good times and memories together. there is no friend quite like Tony who is willing to support him during his down times and also do something as simple as having a room to stay during an away rotation during medical school. they have shared plenty of good memories such as going to New Orleans for the sugar bowl and going to countless of OUTX games in Dallas.

shruti and shalini met in high school when they both moved to tulsa around the same time. known to most as shrulini, they have done the most growing up together and consider each other family. fun fact: shalini is the only person shruti loves to go on sushi dates with because shalz was the person who shruti tried sushi with for the first time! these two have been through the highest of highs and the lowest of lows together, all with infectious laughter, spicy tuna rolls, and that insane shrulini energy

Mitchell is the guy that if you told him straight faced, "hey do you want to go to the Grand Canyon?" he's like, sure let me pack my bags. Rafael and Mitchell have shared plenty of spontaneous trips together that at times it's hard to keep count. From the Grand Canyon, to Chicago and Albuquerque for the Hot Air Balloon Festival, Mitchell will always be down for a good time and that's what makes his friendship with Rafael one full of spontaneity and surprises

nadia and shruti met in high school, but became closer in college. they share an undying love for fashion, and may or may not have shared closets when they were roommates after college! shruti loves to reflect on the days when they worked at BCBG in dillards together and having their paychecks go right back to work. known for dressing up for no reason going on the most spontaneous and unlikely adventures, there is never a dull moment when these two decide to have fun!

rafael and ben both met during freshman year at the university of oklahoma when they both were fraternity pledge brothers. through surviving pledgeship together, being roommates sophomore year, going to countless ou football games, and playing hours of basketball at the huff, there have been plenty of great memories they both shared from the classic college days. ben is a guy who will always have his back for you and what better moment to step up to the plate then on rafael's wedding day

bianca is the sister of the groom, but shruti considers her to be her own sister at heart. the similarities are endless between the two, including a love of camarones a la diabla, hot cheeto puffs, and a comfy pair of classic black leggings. not to mention ganging up on rafael together! shruti considers herself extremely blessed to have a sister-in-law who she loves and can stand next to her and rafael on their wedding day.

daniel is the brother of the bride and soon to be brother in law. while rafael and daniel both went to OU around the same time, they did not know of each other, better late than never! since being a part of shruti's life, rafael and Daniel have become good friends and have shared plenty of good times together during the holidays.

kiran and shruti became fast friends when they both moved back to tulsa after college. both were working before medical and nursing school and have provided so much support to each other with the transition into each. this included after work moscow mules at R-bar, vent sessions, and girls' nights out. times have changed, but the memories stay

Jake is a wholesome guy that has been one of Rafael's closest friends in medical school. he's a guy that will always have your back and does not have an ounce of ill will in his body. they have both been through both great experiences from going to Breckenridge for spring break or New Orleans for the sugar bowl, to sharing a beer together at his family's ranch in poteau, oklahoma. He's a guy you always want by your side and will always have your back and no better time than on Rafael and Shruti’s wedding day.

donna and shruti met in college by rather unconventional means (just ask, you'll get a funny story), and have been sister-friends ever since. donna always says that shruti is her big sis, but shruti has always looked up to donna for her contagious energy and supportive nature. though getting together has become scarce since college, these two have the incredible ability to pick up right where they left off. shruti can't wait for donna to stand by her side on her special day!

Eugene is Rafael's cousin and they have remained close even through the long distance move since Rafael moved from LA years ago. He will always be down for a good time whether it's 4AM or 7PM, sometimes Rafael can't even keep up. Eugene literally has a picture of Rafael when he was a baby and it's awesome to think how close they've remained since Rafael was barely a newborn. Distance doesn't keep them from becoming close family members and no better time to be together again than when he stand's by Rafael side on his wedding day.

blake and shruti met in tulsa through some mutual friends and quickly bonded over their love for their east asian cultures. both are mixed ethnicities and embrace their Hapa spirit. from crybaby hill pregames, to celebrating chinese new year with some good hot pot, these two have had some fun times in tulsa. shruti knew they were gonna be good friends when they figured they both eat chicken wings the asian way, the correct way. no fowl play in this friendship!

Brendan and Rafael have become close friends from back when they were in medical school. even during those long days of studying Brendan would always be down to hang out and their love for the Dodgers know no bound. Rafael's favorite experience with him was when one day they both woke up on a Sunday and were like, "hey, want to drive down to Houston for the World Series?" and before you know it they leave at 11AM to Houston, make it there at 7:30PM, find a guy who was selling "tickets" and sneak into the Minute Maid field through the "Media" entrance wearing Youtube TV passes without actual tickets. though marissa and shruti met in high school, their friendship was solidified after college when they worked together as medical scribes in the emergency department. life was crazy for the both of them, but marrisa was sure of one thing: rafael. she was the one who convinced shruti to go on that first date with him! so listen to your friends, folks!

Willie and Rafael have both been close friends since medical school and while Willie is rocking it over in Atlanta for his residency, they remain in close touch. They have both been through a lot together both ups and downs and even when their friendship has been strained, it has made it stronger in the end. Willie has always been there for shruti and Rafael and they both can't wait to have their close friend by their side when Rafael and shruti both get married.
