Special Note: Many of Kyle and Shriya’s early post-climb dates happened right here—unwinding after climbing sessions at ABP over cold drinks, good conversation, and shared laughs.

Special Note: Kyle and Shriya both love reading, and BookPeople was a favorite weekend stop. Special Note: Even after moving to Dallas, Kyle and Shriya still stop by Kinokuniya whenever they’re in town. It’s a place that sparks joy—and adds to their ever-growing collection of books and notebooks.

Special Note: Kyle lived on Rainey Street when he first moved to Austin, so this area holds a special place in his heart—and comes with plenty of stories.

It has two 18-hole courses, kitschy statues, and is BYOB, which makes it a local favorite. Special Note: Shriya and Kyle celebrated their 6-month dating anniversary here, making memories between playful banter, missed putts, and lots of laughs.
