Train
Bath Spa is the name of the main train station in Bath. You can catch trains to Bath Spa from Bristol Temple Meads (less than 20 minutes) or London Paddington (less than 90 minutes). Tickets are cheaper when bought in advance and often buying two one-way (single) tickets are cheaper than buying a round-trip (return) ticket. Also, if you are travelling in groups of four or more people, you can get a discount of up to 33% off ticket prices. So we encourage you to band together and travel in groups, where possible! We regularly use Booking.com to book accommodation in Bath. They have a wide range of properties ranging from bed and breakfasts, hotels to apartments. The website provides the capability to filter properties based on the facilities you need and also based on user ratings, allowing you to find the right property for your stay. Many properties also have a free cancellation policy. Bath is a small town, so you are never too far away from the action! However, if you want to stay close to the ceremony venue, then all you need to do is search for properties near the town centre or 'Bath Assembly Rooms' (postal/zip code: BA1 2QH).
