Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

We request that our guests arrive in garden formal attire, which is somewhere in between " black-tie optional" and "cocktail" dress codes. We envision this to essentially mean black-tie optional attire, except that dresses are not required to be ankle-length given that we will be outside. We also welcome seasonal prints and colors that complement a garden landscape. Attire suggestions include: suits, dress shirts + slacks, ties/bowties, floor-length gowns, cocktail dresses, elegant pantsuits, and dressy separates. If you have any questions on attire, please see the following resources: https://www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-formal-black-tie-optional-black-tie-invited https://www.brides.com/black-tie-optional-wedding-attire-4800698

Question

What's the weather like?

Answer

October is a beautiful and temperate time of year on the central coast. We expect the weather to be around 70 degrees with a gentle evening breeze. There will be outdoor heaters at the reception, but we recommend bringing a light coat or sweater for your comfort.

Question

When should I arrive to the wedding venue?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests arrive no earlier than the time when Doors Open. Our venue will be ready to receive guests exactly at the start time so that the ceremony and reception can promptly begin. Our venue is situated in town and in close proximity to lots of great restaurants, cafes, and the pier!

Question

What's there to do in the area?

Answer

There's plenty to see and do! Check out our Things To Do page for some ideas on where you spend your time while you're in town celebrating with us.

Question

I'm not familiar with this part of California. Where should I stay?

Answer

We have lots of hotel recommendations, but you can't go wrong staying in Cayucos, Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, or Paso Robles! Pismo Beach is under an hour away and very picturesque. There are also plenty of rentals available on Airbnb and VRBO. Some of our favorite trips have included staying at the Madonna Inn or at different wineries north of SLO! Our families will be staying in Cayucos and Morro Bay.

Question

What's parking like at the venue? Any other transportation options?

Answer

Good news – the area around our venue typically has plenty of parking, especially in the late afternoon! There is street parking available in neighboring streets around the venue. There is also a free public parking lot directly across from the venue that beachgoers use daily. Given the small-town atmosphere, we won't be providing transportation or a shuttle bus. Please use your most cautious judgment when deciding to drive after the reception. Uber and Lyft are available as options.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

When we are ready to accept RSVPs, we ask guests to kindly return to this website and click on the RSVP link! We will ask for the number of guests in your party who will attend and your preferred dinner selections.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Given venue limitations, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it has been specified on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
