Only family and very close friends are invited. The Haldi ceremony involves applying turmeric paste (Haldi) to the bride and groom's body. It is believed to bless the couple with good luck and ward off evil spirits. The Mehndi ceremony is all about decorating the bride’s hands and feet with intricate henna designs (Mehndi). This will occur after the haldi ceremony, where lady guests will have the option to apply a small henna designs on their hands or feet.
