If you're sticking closer to the city: RiNo Arts District – Street art, breweries, and cool vibes all around Union Station – A great spot to eat, grab a coffee, and feel fancy in a train station Red Rocks Amphitheatre – Even if there’s no concert, go for the views and the short trail behind it Tennyson Street – Our favorite underrated neighborhood for local shops and brunch
Where it all began! We met in college here, and Boulder will always hold a special place in our hearts. Pearl Street Mall: Cute shops, street performers, cafes — it’s great for a laid-back afternoon stroll. Chautauqua Park: Our go-to hike spot. The Flatirons are iconic and offer views that never get old. The Sink: Quirky and iconic — perfect for grabbing pizza or a burger (and the ceiling graffiti is legendary). Sweet Cow Ice Cream and Boxcar Coffee = yes please. 📍About 40 minutes from Denver
A little south of Denver but totally worth it if you want dramatic views and natural wonders. Garden of the Gods: Unreal red rock formations with an easy walking trail — it’s as photogenic as it gets. Pikes Peak Scenic Drive: Or you can take the cog railway to the summit if you’re feeling adventurous. Downtown Colorado Springs has fun local restaurants and cute boutiques too. 📍About 1.5 hours from Denver
For the mountain lovers — Estes is a charming town at the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. Take the scenic drive along Trail Ridge Road (if it’s open!) or just meander through the national park for wildlife sightings and photo ops. Grab a coffee in town and soak up the mountain air. 📍Roughly 1.5–2 hours from Denver
