We're Getting Married!

Due to updated COVID-19 public health guidelines in Denver County, we are moving our reception venue to Riverwalk Clubhouse in Littleton, CO. We will have a shuttle leaving at 4:45pm from the JW Marriott to the reception venue. Please arrive on time so we can party on time. The entire party will travel together to the venue and the shuttle will be traveling back to the hotel regularly for those who will like to leave early. Last shuttle will leave at 10pm. Reception will be catered by our local favorite Indian restaurant. Dress attire is Indian Wedding Themed or semi-formal attire. Please avoid dressing in predominately red, green or gold colors. For those who would like to transport themselves to the reception (we do not suggest this option and hope to see you on the bus), please see the venue address below. Just a Friendly reminder that you are welcome to wear semi-formal American or Indian clothing to the reception. The wedding is going to be semi-formal American clothing. We have a decent sized break between the wedding and the reception. Plenty of time for those who would like to change outfits between events. Before our residency officially started in July, Matt sent a message to our resident class in true Matt fashion: "Does anyone want to grab lunch/dinner and possibly 1-10 beers? I'm ready to kinda explore a little." I was the only one who could meet up that day, so we met at Milwaukee Tavern in Cherry Creek. We talked, we laughed, and towards the end of the night, I even attempted a cartwheel on the grass. Needless to say, it was a great time. We continued to spend more time enjoying summer/fall in Colorful Colorado with each other, our co-residents, and our pups, George and Reina. Our friendship continued to grow, and within a few months, we officially started dating in October 2017.

We went downtown to grab dinner with some friends. Matt strategically planned to propose at Union Station, a place that was special because we spent so much time there the year prior. We started the night off by ourselves at Machete, which was one of the restaurants that we went to the first night we met. He talked about us, our past, and our future. We left the restaurant and started walking towards Union Station. Matt bent down on one knee and proposed in front of the fountains. Matt struggled to find the right words, but I knew what he meant! I screamed "YES!" and our close friends jumped out from where they were hiding and surprised me. The next day, Matt threw a surprise engagement party where our close friends and family were in attendance and could celebrate with us. And now we're excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with YOU. See you in Denver!
