Jimmy & Mili grew up less than 5 mins from each other, in Owings, MD. Both of them went to Windy Hill & Northern. They wouldn't officially meet until a friends Halloween party in 2014. Jimmy was home for the weekend & instead of going to a party in Salisbury he decided to go with his sister to her friends party. Mili was in his sisters friends group so of course she showed up as well. Although Mili had planned on being a sugar skull with a friend she had to come up with another costume involving white out costume contacts. So she sprayed her hair white, wore all black and went as Storm from X-men. Upon entering the party Mili heard “oh what’s up Storm” from the top of the stairs. As she looked up she saw Jimmy, dressed as none other than Wolverine from X-men. A costume that was leftover from a previous party he went to. 9 months later, July 2015, they went on their first vacation together to Aruba, just the two of them. Both say that trip sealed the deal, two people who barely knew each other on a vacation just the two of them, it was absolutely perfect. After 2 years of “nothing serious”, countless Mangos dancing nights and no official title, in January 2016 it was made Facebook official. In June 2018 they welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Lili Nichole, into the world.

After their daughter, Lili, was born, Mili & Jimmy had entertained the idea of Mili joining the USAF as well. In July 2018 Mili went to see a recruiter, long story short she needed to wait until at least 6 months post birth as well as get her finger tattoos removed. Fast forward to 2 years, 6 laser treatments, and 1 skin graft surgery later she was cleared. Then the COVID 19 pandemic got thrown into the mix. Finally, on November 7, 2020, Mili got the call saying she was shipping out for BMT January 26, 2021 with a job in administration. Everything was falling into place. In the days leading up to her ship out week, Mili noticed Jimmy was very unimpressed with the thought of marriage and what it would change in their relationship, because to him they were "basically already married". Mili shrugged it off and in ways agreed, even though they had always talked about marriage. The last weekend before she was to leave, Mili planned a going away brunch. Jimmy had also made sure to request one last date night out together. So with Lili staying back to play with her cousins Colton and Teagan, Mom & Dad went out for the night. Dinner at the new local restaurant, 1936, and drinks at the bar upstairs afterwards. Jimmy kept requesting a picture to update his profile and Mili thought nothing of it because she was leaving and assumed he was getting a little emotional about it. Jimmy messaged the Maid of Honor, Taylor, secretly to have her "stop by to say hi" before drinks upstairs. Out of the balcony Taylor prepared to "take a picture" while Mili fixed her hair with help from Kellie fixing her hair. As Mili turned to show her good side Jimmy was down on one knee.
