Derrick and I first met at church. I serve as The Praise and Worship Leader and Derrick Serves as The Head Armabearor. Derrick is such an awesome protector and he would always make sure my family was safe when leaving church. He would even call me or text me from time to time to make sure I was okay. I never knew he like me!!!! He swears to this day that he flirted with me but I did not pay him any attention lol. I had just finish a photo shoot for my first CD. Church was about to start and Derrick came up to me and ask for my photographer number ,he said "text it to me" so I did. The next day he text me and the rest is history. Derrick is thee!!! answer to so many of my prayers from the Lord! I am a witness that God will give you beauty for your ashes. We are creating a new soundtrack of love !!! And we are having so much fun doing it!!

Derrick was turning 50!!! and never had a Party he wanted to go to Las Vegas!!, so I started making these awesome plans for us!! Later he said can you just bring Las Vegas to me? I said sure!! so I began to make arrangements, invitations the whole 9 yards...The night of the party the house was PACK!!! with our close friends and family and Derrick got down on one Knee and ask to MARRY ME!!!! No reservation!!!! I absolutely said YESSSSS!!!! I looked at my mom and I looked and all my children, my Pastor and they all agreed!!!!
