Happily Ever After

The story began on a cold winter’s night in Hoboken. Doug was out with friends at 10th & Willow. Shana was in NYC, attempting a dry January, when her friends convinced her to go out to 10th & Willow. The connection was instant; some might say love at first sight. Shana and Doug talked into the wee hours, and they haven’t stopped talking since. The rest is history.

Shana and Doug were quarantining in their apartment due to COVID on Doug’s 31st birthday. To celebrate, Doug had a brilliant idea. A formal dance party! While Shana was getting dressed, Doug began setting the scene for an event the two would never forget. Shana walked into the living room, the candles were lit, and the music was rockin’. Shana had an inkling something was about to happen, but that was quickly dispelled as Shana realized Doug’s pockets were empty. Little did Shana know Doug was a “two-step” ahead. Doug asked Shana to mix him a cocktail, giving him time to get the ring hidden in the other room. Shallow started to play, Doug took Shana’s hands, tears streamed down Shana’s cheeks, Doug got down on one knee, and asked to spend the rest of their lives together. Sho said yes.

Fate brought Shana and Doug together. Beshert! Since then, they have shared countless memories through laughter, travel and the home they created together. They have numerous chapters of their book already written and hope you will join them as they write the next chapter of their love story.
