We met at Lake Braddock Secondary School through a mutual friend who thought we would get along. We ended up following each other on social media and began talking instantly, and haven’t ever stopped since. Our first date was a Relay for Life Fundraiser event where Shoshi’s sister Leah tagged along the whole date, it ended up being one of the best nights for Shoshi and Andrew because shortly after they made it official.

Shortly after our move back to Northern Virginia, Andrew and Shoshi celebrated their 8 year anniversary Andrew proposed to Shoshi at the Stone Tower Winery. Andrew told Shoshi a week before he scheduled a winery tour to celebrate their anniversary at a dog friendly winery. Shoshi was so excited because that meant Bernie, their dog, would be able to enjoy the day with them. When they arrived to the winery it was already close to 100 degrees- a super hot day and Shoshi began regretting her decision as she does not do so well in the heat, and neither did Bernie. Upon arriving, Andrew said he was going to take Bernie to the on-site doggie daycare while Shoshi went to the bathroom. Shoshi thought that was literally the coolest thing ever and was ready to purchase a membership. Little did she know, he went upstairs to get some last minute jitters out with both the Niedringhaus and Warshavsky family who were watching from the winery balcony. Andrew and Shoshi then went to the top of the vineyard while the tour guide ran in to grab water bottles. Andrew wanted to go look at the view while "waiting", and he proposed to Shoshi. So many incredible memories of our relationship were mentioned, from how in high school Shoshi was cheering Andrew on the football field, to doing five years of long distance in college, their move to Dallas where they adopted Bernie into their family, and how incredibly excited we are for our future of being married and starting our family. Saying yes to marrying Andrew was the easiest thing Shoshi ever did and was her dream since she first met Andrew when she was 16. We feel so incredibly blessed for the people who have been there through the different moments and stages of our relationship. We are so excited to celebrate with everyone October 19th!
