Wedding Party

Molly Lewison

Bride

Jacob Staudt

Groom

Shania Wunschel

Maid of Honor

Friend of the Bride Shania and I met in college during track practice. We lived together for the next two years of college. Shania is definitely the person who gets me outside my comfort zone and I keep her a little more calm. Many nights during college were spent sitting on one of our beds eating loads of jellybeans and talking. Shania's parents also became my parents away from home while at college. Between the countless Dairy Queen runs and track practices, Shania and I grew really close. She is always there when you need her and I can't wait to have her by my side as I marry Jake.

Tanner Cook

Best Man

Friend of the Groom Tanner and I were roommates our freshmen year of college, both played football, and had a love for biology! We spent a ton of time together freshmen year as roommates, and possibly even more the next three years as we would spend late nights in the science center studying or being RAs. If you need any advice about plants or gardening, please talk to him to learn all about them as he is a graduate student at Iowa State! Tanner has only known me since I've been dating Molly, but he is almost as much of her friend as he is mine. I'm so glad he will be standing next to me!

Reagan Reece

Bridesmaid

Friend of the Bride Reagan and I became friends in fourth grade. She was my best friend going through middle school and high school. I can't tell you how much money we spent on Jones Soda or Italian Ices from the Enchanted Forest in Forest City! We spent countless hours lifeguarding throughout high school together. Reagan is in law school at Drake, which means we are both in the Des Moines area. It has been awesome being around the same area again and hanging out around Des Moines!

Nick Bunger

Groomsman

Friend of the Groom Nick and I have been friends since we were kids. We would ride our bikes all over town when we were little, waste gas driving to Mason City to mess around at Walmart, and spent a lot of recruiting visits together for football. While I couldn't convince Nick to come with me to BV, I'm happy we've kept in touch throughout college and that we live so close together now! Nick lives near Molly and I in Des Moines working as a nurse! Nick has been there for Molly and I throughout our relationship, and I'm excited to have him standing with me at the wedding!

Abbey Staudt

Bridesmaid

Sister of the Groom Abbey is Jake's sister and I am happy I will soon be able to call her my sister! In high school, Abbey was my little sister in track, which meant I was a sort of mentor for her. We did very different events, but we spent a lot of time together since I was over at the Staudt's regularly. We also spent many wrestling meets sitting taking stats or videoing. It was awesome getting to know her more as Jake and I first started dating. Abbey has started to do a little photography here and there. She captured the moment when Jake proposed at our college graduation!

Gabe Staudt

Groomsman

Brother of the Groom Gabe is the little brother I never wanted, but have grown to love slowly and painfully. He is just about to graduate from high school, and is looking to go to college at UNI (I couldn't convince him to be a beaver) to become a math teacher! While he isn't anywhere near as pretty as I am, he is already smarter than me! Abbey and I do take credit for teaching him early on how to do math as we would play monopoly with him when he was younger, and we may have cheated a little bit. He learned quickly how to count back the money we owed him and to make sure we weren't stealing his money away! Gabe must have forgiven me for all of the cheating though because I am lucky enough to have him standing at the wedding.

Nicole Lewison

Bridesmaid

Sister-in-Law of the Bride Nicole is my brother Alec's wife. We first met when my family went to see Alec when he was in college. She fit right into our family. I was lucky enough to travel with Nicole and my parents to see Alec in Mississippi, so that they could get married! Nicole has been the sister I have wanted since I grew up with two brothers. Last winter Nicole asked me to help her drive back down to Florida with her. That trip although we were very tired, was an awesome trip because we got to spend time together, which does not often happen since Alec and Nicole live in Florida. Alec is unfortunately going to be deployed at the time of our wedding, but you may see Nicole holding a phone up with Alec Skyping the party, be sure to tell him hi!

Nolan Emley

Groomsman

Friend of the Groom Nolan was one of my suitemates in college during my senior year, but we had gotten to know each other well on the defensive line at BV for the last four years. Even though Nolan was a philosophy major at BV, I still had the opportunity to take some classes with him like bioethics. We only lived together for a semester, but I was in Nolan's and TK's suite constantly the two years before. We have been through a lot together as teammates, suite mates, and kayaking buddies. If you find yourself talking to Nolan, make sure you ask him about falling out of our kayak in Florida for a good laugh!

Gage Cook

Usher

Friend of the Groom Gage is Tanner's twin brother and was a huge part of my life in college. We shared a lot of classes even though he was originally a philosophy major (Tanner and I helped sway him to the light and science!). Some of my favorite memories with Gage are in our religions of Iowa and bioethics classes where we spent way too much time talking about issues that had nothing to do with the class.

Jason Fisher

Usher

Cousin of the Groom Jason is going to Wartburg college, but try not to hold it against him. While I don't have many fond memories together on field as the games were typically one sided, we've made some great memories growing up. As cousins we have known each other our whole lives, and have spent a lot of time at Grandma and Grandpa's house playing games, climbing trees, and picking on Gabe a little bit! We had a lot of fun summers visiting him in Nashua!

Christian Kladstrup

Usher

Friend of the Groom Christian and I spent a lot of time together in our biology classes throughout BVU, as RAs and in all of the science clubs that our friends seemed to be running. We really got closer in our time as "almost" neighbors in Des Moines! Christian is going to medical school at Des Moines University.

Tyler Kyhl

Usher

Friend of the Groom TK and I both played defensive line, studied biology, and liked Star Wars a little to much according to some people, and this all helped us become friends at BV. He was Nolan's roommate in our suite senior year. Some of my best memories with TK were in the Zoology and Physiology labs where we both had a little too much fun playing with science!

Hensley Allen

Flower Girl

Cousin of the Bride Hensley is the daughter of my cousin Sara and her husband Dan. I chose Hensley as my flower girl because I was the flower girl in her parents' wedding. However, I wasn't intended to be in their wedding. While Sara was wedding dress shopping my 5 year old self asked, "When do I get my dress?" Sara didn't have the heart to tell me no. I barged my way into their wedding, and when they found out they were having a girl, I told my mom that she was one day going to be my flower girl, and here we are.

Thomas Boss

Head of Ring Security

Cousin of the Groom Tommy is the head of ring security because he is the toughest guy in the family even as the youngest of us. Tommy always brings the excitement to family gatherings, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him dancing away at the reception! I am so happy to have him be a part of our wedding!

Zachary Lewison

Officiant

Brother of the Bride Zach is an ordained youth pastor in a small town in Wyoming. Growing up I was Zach's buddy to hang out with. As we got older we have become very close talking at least twice a week. Zach is a very passionate about working with teenagers. He is the easiest person to get along with and is able to start a conversation with anyone. He is also a musician; Zach plays bass guitar and guitar. He dables a little bit in singing.
