It was a slow Thursday night at the tattoo shop and closing time couldn’t come quicker. At 10:00 the door loudly rings open, i glance up and as our eyes meet, they light up like never before. After a moment of silence and collecting ourselves, we got to business. She initially wanted a more complicated tattoo and since time was short, i asked if there was anything else she had in mind, luckily for me she did. The tattoo began and the conversation was overflowing as if we knew each other for a lifetime, laughing and sharing our love for good music. After wrapping up, i walked her outside and before driving off she pinned a button on my jacket and told me to come see her at the taproom. While closing up the shop, I remembered I FORGOT TO GET HER NUMBER! So my next day off, i excitedly went to the taproom and was told she was off that day. I tried again a week later and was told she didn’t work there(i found out that was a new employee’s first day). I left feeling defeated, kicking myself for not getting her number that night. A month goes by and just as I’m losing hope, i get new follower notification on instagram, ITS HER! I didn’t want to waste another moment so i immediately messaged her and asked her to a picnic that afternoon. That turned into more dates and more tattoos and the rest is history…
