General: Can I bring my children?

All children are welcome. Please note that childcare will not be provided.

General: What if I want to bring/send a gift?

Answer

In lieu of gifts, I ask that you send all donations to the Jed Foundation. The Jed Foundation protects emotional health and prevents suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults. Donate through the QR code at the Met Gala or at jedfoundation.org/donate/.

Friday: What if I miss the shuttle?

Answer

Unfortunately, guests will be required to secure their own transportation, there and back unless there is additional room on the shuttle. **If you RSVP you will automatically be included in the head count for shuttle transportation. If you do not wish to use complimentary transportation, please include this in your RSVP email to shontas50flyandmiami@gmail.com

All white resort wear is required.

Saturday: Should I bring a change of shoes?

Answer

Yes, immediately following the Met Gala at the Hardrock Hotel, guests are welcome to enjoy the casino.

Formal attire is required; all colors are welcome excluding the color red.

Saturday: Will there be time to go to the casino?

Answer

After 10PM guests will be welcome to enjoy the casino. However, please note that transportation leaves at 11:15PM. You will need to be on the bus no later than 11PM. If you miss the shuttle, you will have to find alternative arrangements.

Sunday: What is the dress code?

Resort/swimwear, all shades of pink are required.

Sunday: Do I have to go to South Beach after the pool party?

Answer

No, the South Beach Experience is not mandatory. However, if you do plan on going, please note the following: After the pool party, guests will be taken back to the hotels. For those riding to South Beach, please stay on the bus. Due to time, guests will not be able to change their clothes or freshen up, before heading to the strip. Please plan accordingly. You are welcome to explore all that the strip has to offer. However, please return out front of Havana 1957 Cuban Cuisine, no later than 7:15 PM, the bus will be leaving at 7:30 PM sharp. The bus will meet you in front of Havana 1957 Cuban Cuisine. Address: 405 Española Wy, Miami Beach, FL 33139
