Wedding Party

Shomari Owens

Groom

They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach—and Kendra had me hooked with her cooking from the start. But it wasn’t just the meals that sealed the deal. It was the way she handles life like a real-life superhero—balancing work, love, laughter, and everything in between with grace and strength. She’s is my personal Wonder Woman, and every day I feel lucky to be her partner in this grand adventure. Now I am ready to spend forever by her side, cape and all.

Kendra Robison

Bride

Shomari isn’t just a firefighter—he’s a full-on superhero in disguise. (he may be in denial) When he’s not putting out flames at work, he’s putting up with life’s curveballs like a champ. He handles it all with the kind of calm that makes you wonder if he secretly has superpowers. I’ve always thought love is like cooking: it’s all about passion, patience, and knowing when to add a pinch of spice. And in Shomari, I’ve found the perfect recipe—he’s the sauce that ties everything together. His strength keeps my fire burning, and together, we cook up a life that’s hot, spicy, and served with a side of love.

Kawana Whitlow

Maid of Honor

Kendra and I are sister-cousins—while I had three sisters, she was the only girl among her siblings at home. We grew up thick as thieves, and I truly can’t imagine doing this thing called life without her. We’ve weathered ups and downs together, and by the grace of God, we’ve shown the world that there is no failure in God. Some days we were just surviving, but even then—we were thriving. Through it all, Kendra has always been intentional and selective when it comes to matters of the heart. So I know that my soon-to-be cousin must be someone truly special. Shomari, thank you—for loving her the way she deserves. I look forward to seeing the two of you become one. I love you both dearly, and I pray that God continues to bless you with everything you need, and more.

Erica Owens

Bridesmaid

Growing up with my big brother Shomari—yes, the groom—I was right there, witnessing all his wild adventures up close.. And now, I get to witness the most epic one yet: his love story with the amazing bride (Kendra). I’ve been cheering this couple on since day one, basically their unofficial hype person. With my killer timing, sharp wit, and just the right amount of sass, I bring the fun wherever I go. So yes, I’m absolutely over the moon to be standing beside them on their big day—looking flawless, cracking jokes, and maybe shedding one (just one!) happy tear.

Breana Jones

Bridesmaid

Growing up as the groom’s little sister, I’ve had a front-row seat to his finest (and most embarrassing) moments since birth. From childhood pranks to questionable fashion choices, I’ve seen it all—and somehow still agreed to stand by his side on the big day. I am thrilled to officially gain a sister who can now help keep him in line. Even mix of a big heart and humor, I am here to support the couple, celebrate hard, and maybe share a few well-timed childhood stories (you’ve been warned)

Dari Lomax

Bridesmaid

A creative soul and Jane of many trades! I was created to spread beauty, love, and light, which I’m sure is exactly how Kendra and I bonded (at one of her get togethers, over spades and her amazing cooking, of course!). We’ve been bonding ever since — true foodie twins who never turn down a good meal or a good laugh. I’m beyond honored to be here to support her for this beautiful new chapter with Shomari. Cheers to forever love! You deserve this! 💗

Jas Mandalorian Blade Thompson

Groomswoman

I’m Kendra’s daughter she always wanted yet simultaneously her oldest son. She came into my life when I needed her most and we’re locked in eternally. I’ve always felt no one would ever be good enough for her so I’m especially grateful her “equal yolk” Shomari, has found his good thing. Love you both, goddie.

Darlene Jackson

Bridesmaid

Kendra Managed Leon Timbo. We met when he performed at the C -Room which was a Christian Night Club I hosted… We eventually found out that we had so much in common. Especially the way that we were at that time Wonder Woman… I say “We were” at that time because we have both taken off our capes… No longer do we have to come to anyone’s rescue. Because we have Kings who allow us to live our “Soft Girl Life” ❤️❤️❤️❤️. There is No WAY I can begin to tell the depth and strength of our stories and sisterhood… Some people grow up together… Kendra and I have matured together… Big difference

Eric Owens

Father of the Groom

Eric Owens - Father of the Groom I am the proud father of Shomari. I am thrilled to be celebrating this wonderful milestone as Shomari and Kendra begin their new life together. I enjoy good conversation, weekend barbecues, and sharing a well-timed dad joke. I warmly welcomes Kendra into the family and looks forward to celebrating this joyful day surrounded by friends and loved ones.

Dave Garrison

Father of the Bride

Hello everyone, I’m Dave Garrison—though for the purpose of this moment, you only need to know me as Kendra’s dad. A proud and truly fortunate father. If you know Kendra, then the pride makes perfect sense. She is, without a doubt, the most wonderful daughter anyone could hope for. But to understand just how fortunate I am, I need to share a little more. Kendra doesn’t come alone—she brings with her two incredible grandkids who light up my life in their own special ways. All of this—this joy, this richness of family—comes as a gift from Kendra. And for that, I am endlessly grateful.

For all the days along the way
