HYDRATION REMINDER - High Elevation and Alcohol/Altitude Sickness Please remember to hydrate and drink responsibility. At higher altitudes, the body has less oxygen, which can cause altitude sickness and can make you feel more intoxicated with less alcohol. Tips to avoid altitude sickness & excessive intoxication: - Drink water!! Increase your water intake prior to arriving in Colorado for the best results! - Go easy on the drinking and use the 1:1 ratio (1 alcoholic beverage to 1 water) - Eat your carbs - Carbs help our body absorb oxygen better. - Electrolyte/hydration supplements can be helpful if you need a hydration boost. (Liquid IV, Pedialyte, Gatorade) - Wear sunscreen - The air is thinner in Colorado so the sun’s rays have less atmosphere to pass through before they hit your skin - Oxygen canisters can be purchased at most gas stations if you'd feel more comfortable having one on hand. Elevation Comparisons: Bailey, CO (wedding location) - 8,600 ft Denver, CO - 5,280 ft Kansas City, MO - 900 ft Chicago, IL - 600 ft TLDR - Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!!

We are providing transportation to and from the wedding venue that will pick up and drop off from SpringHill Suites Denver West/Golden. If you are local or staying at other accommodations you are still welcome and encouraged to meet at the hotel and take the shuttle. Shuttle pick up 3:30PM at SpringHill Suites Denver West/Golden Early Shuttle Departs 9:00PM - Drop off at SpringHill Suites Denver West/Golden Late Shuttle Departs 11:00PM - Drop off at SpringHill Suites Denver West/Golden VERY IMPORTANT: It is difficult to impossible to get an Uber/Lyft to pick up from the venue. If you are not planning on driving we highly recommend planning to take the shuttle.

Denver International Airport is the closest airport to our venue. Transportation via rental cars, Uber/Lyft, and the Denver RTD A Line light rail are available at DIA.
