What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal/cocktail attire.  Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, floor length dress. Gentlemen a suit and tie, tux.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Weather in October will be warm during the day time and cool in the night. Bring a light coat or cover up for nightfall.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Ceremony will be taking place on the front lawn of the Home. The reception will be held just behind the Home in a covered area.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both will be held outdoors. Be mindful of the weather that day. Stay safe and stay protected against the sun!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around half an hour.  Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages. Bar will only be serving Wines and Beers.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Our wedding is simple elegance. Colors are terracotta orange, sage, blush, cream, and burgundy. We really want to embrace the beautiful fall colors.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 20-15 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park?

Answer

Parking is available on site, please follow the signs and there will be a worker present.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

You can RSVP on this website by clicking on the RSVP tab, or you can mail your RSVP card with the stamp provided in your invitation.

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

There will be vegetarian, GF, and pork free options available. There will be tree nuts in the menu, we can accommodate this allergy as well.

Answer

We are registered with Zola, and Amazon. Links can be found in Registry tab.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media pages, however our only request is that you only take photos during the reception and tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #Shiv&Jules so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
