Which travel agency will be coordinating my transporation?

Answer

If you booked your stay at El Dorado Royale or Generations Riviera with Sonia Estrada from Destination Weddings, your transportation to and from the airport has been coordinated with Lomas Travel.

Will transportation be provided between the airport and resort?

Answer

Yes, complimentary shuttle services through Lomas Travel are available from Cancun International Airport to El Dorado Royale and Generations Riviera Maya.

Is a deposit required to reserve my room?

Answer

Yes, an initial deposit of $200 per person for a room holding 1-2 people (plus $50 for each additional person in the room) is required to reserve your room.

Is my deposit refundable?

Answer

Yes - if you purchase travel insurance, your entire deposit (including the initial deposit of $200 per person for 1-2 people and $50 for each additional person in the room) is completely refundable up to 75 days prior to May 9, 2023. If you cancel your reservation less than 75 days prior to May 9, 2023, you will receive your refund in the form of a travel voucher which can be used in multiple countries and resorts.

How and where should I book my stay?

Answer

Adults can book their stay at El Dorado Royale and guests with children under the age of 18 can book their stay at one of El Dorado Royale's sister resorts, Generations Riviera Maya and Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts. You can book your stay through Destination Weddings by following the steps listed in the “Booking and Accommodations” tab as well as contacting our travel agent, Sonia Estrada, for guidance.

Which airport should I fly to?

Answer

Cancun International Airport is the closest airport to the resort. It is an approximately 20-30 minute drive away from El Dorado Royale, Generations Riviera Maya and Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts.

Who should I contact for travel and booking inquiries?

Can I make changes to my reservation after booking?

Answer

Potentially. Please contact Sonia Estrada if you need to make any changes to your reservation. Additionally, as mentioned before, if you purchase travel insurance, you will receive a refund on your reservation.

What happens if I book my stay at another resort?

Answer

While you can book your stay at a resort outside of El Dorado Royale, Generations Riviera Maya and Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts, we do not recommend it due to the costs you will likely incur. If you stay at a resort outside of the three resorts mentioned above, El Dorado Royale will require you to purchase a daily resort entrance fee of $100+ a day for each individual to enter the resort and attend our wedding events. If you book your stay at El Dorado Royale, Generations Riviera Maya & Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts, you will NOT be required to purchase a daily resort entrance fee if you book your stay at El Dorado Royale, Generations Riviera Maya and Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts. Please note that you can book your stay at El Dorado Royale, Generations Riviera Maya and Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts at a discounted group rate until 10/31/22 by following the steps listed on our "Booking and Travel Accomodations " page. After this date, rooms and rates cannot be guaranteed. The rate you see on the Destination Weddings website is all inclusive and includes transportation to and from the airport as well as shuttle services between the three resorts - El Dorado Royale, Generations Riviera Maya and Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts.
